Langston Hughes

Langston Hughes was born Feb 1st, 1902. He was born in Joplin, Missouri and is a poet and play writer. Langston published his first poem in 1921 and his first book in 1926. He wrote countless works of poetry, prose, and plays. He even wrote a popular column for the Chicago Defender. He passed away on May 22, 1967.
